Michael Aynsley (Mick) Connelly, (21 February 1916 – 27 August 2003), was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party, and a Cabinet Minister from 1972 to 1975 in the Third Labour Government. He was Minister of Police, Minister of Customs, Minister of Works and Development (in 1975) and Minister of Statistics (in 1975). He was the Member of Parliament for from the to , then from to , then from to , when he retired. Connelly was appointed a Companion of the Queen's Service Order for public services in the 1984 Queen's Birthday Honours.〔(''London Gazette'' (supplement), No. 49769, 15 June 1984 ). Retrieved 25 January 2013.〕 In the 1988 Queen's Birthday Honours, he was made a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George, for public service.〔(''London Gazette'' (supplement), No. 51367, 10 June 1988 ).
